Identified - We are investigating errors in our management API resulting caused by an increase in traffic to our search servers.

From 22:58 to 23:32 UTC (2017-08-09), an unresponsive node in our search cluster caused a portion of requests to our management API to fail with a 500 response. The unresponsive node was restarted, and we have not seen further errors since then. We will investigate the cause and determine what follow-up actions are required.

Resolved - Our search service had a cascading failure, resulting in errors to all requests to /user/v2/api in the US PREVIEW and PROD environments from 12:06 to 12:16 UTC. We restarted the services, which ended the errors. We will continue to investigate the root cause and identify follow-up actions.

Resolved - An spike in requests to our search service caused a cascading failure, resulting in 500 errors to /user/v2/api from 00:06 to 00:16 UTC. We restarted the services, ending the errors, and have seen this traffic reduce to normal levels. We will continue to investigate the root cause and identify follow-up actions.
